The Past Few Days

Okay so I probably don't remember everything that happened, but I'll try my best to scrape by with the cruddy memory.

Friday was a huge international party that practically everyone went to, except me and a several others. So, Rebekah and I decided o do our own thing. It wasn't much, we basically had a lazy day. Actually, we're having one today and it's a nice change of pace considering yesterday was a little crazy. But yesterday's adventure gets it's own post since it's literally all pictures.

So back to Friday.

In front of Ajou, there's a coffee shop that has a sign displaying some pictures of their products. It's all strawberry related drinks/cakes and to be honest almost all the cafes around here advertise their strawberry products, probably because spring and summer are knocking at our doors. So I've literally been thirsting for strawberries.

So we finally, finally popped into the shop, Coffeenie. It's super small inside, but really yummy.

Cookies n Creme Frappe~

The cake was so-so because there's a ton of whipped cream and I'm not too big of a fan of whipped cream. The drink was really good though and super refreshing because it's in like the high 40s to low 50s around here.

After buying some stuff for school and dropping off paperwork, we went to one of the cafeterias here on campus and decided to try the school's version of a western meal, an omelette.

The "omelette" was a literal sheet of of egg draped delicately over a massive mound of rice. I thought the pile of lettuce was like coleslaw, I was wrong. It was just a pile of lettuce. The sausage with mustard and the fries were great though. Also, the little bottle you see on my tray by my Coke? Gross. For me, anyway. It was bad, tart in a negative way. It's a vitamin drink that's really popular here, and I really don't like it.

After that we went back to my room and literally laid around doing absolutely nothing. I had to buy my jacket so we woke ourselves up and stumbled out of the dorm into the wild world. We also went out to buy some snacks and stuff since we were going to watch movies when we returned.

These are pretty good, actually. They're no where near as amazing as the real thing, but for what they are, they were good enough. They weren't too crunchy either and I appreciated that.

Bulgogi kimbap! Some good stuff right here. We got a two pack and honestly I could probably eat four or five of these... I'll probably end up buying more throughout this trip. Not to mentioned I pulled the wrapper off perfectly even though I had no idea what I was doing.

And there was that day. Nothing too exciting, well, I take that back. Food is exciting.

Like I mentioned, because yesterday is all pictures, it'll get it's own post after this one.

So today, even though it's not over, we spent it chillin' once again. It's nice considering school it's about to hit us full swing tomorrow and I am honestly not thrilled about it at all. So today, we went out shopping to get some groceries and other necessities.

This is the product of when you're waiting for your friend to finish getting ready.

 There, normal.

Throwing an extra one in for my ma.

So lunch was first on our agenda. Which I already posted some things about it on Facebook but for those who are not on Facebook, I'll be sharing them again.

It was delicious and it was macaroni!! We finally got mac n cheese and it was beautiful. Small amount for 6,500W but we split it so I suppose it's alright. The oreo cheesecake was amazing. Good idea, A+.

We went to a traditional market and picked up a carton of really delicious strawberries. Like, they're amazing and we both agree that next time, we're going to get the 3 for 10,000W deal because wow.

Beautiful and delicious.

We went to a couple ore places and bought some breakfast food.

The bread is alright, for being like the only loaf of bread and finding it in a convenience store. I got the wrong ramen, but that's a price I'll pay when the time comes.

We're about to head out for some dinner soon and I'm going to try and convince Rebekah to go into the book store with me to hopefully buy some books I won't be able to read! It's exciting. I really want books in Korean.

And we're probably going to eat the rest of the strawberries right now, but who can stop us??
