A Short Trip to Lotte World

Lotte World!

But first, food.

So we had pizza from a place called Chicago Pizza. It was really expensive actually, but the pizza itself is filling and thick and beyond cheesy.

Half is creamy crab and the other half is creamy bacon and it was so cheesy. (I also took a slice before our pictures like a bad girl...) They keep the pizza over a flame too.

So we went to Lotte World to go ice skating with a friend of Rebekah's. The way there was interesting, because for a foreigner, listening to the bus stops in Korean while there's other people talking too. But we got where we needed to go and so began our adventure. But the ice rink was being prepped so we had 30 minutes to kill so we went to the Folk Museum.

Prepare yourself for photography.

So graphic.

I was told this is a very famous painting, but I don't know the name.

Vogue.

This guy speaks and moves his eyes, head, and mouth and it's pretty freaky. It will read in English in the whitest voice we've ever heard.

They had a lot of fun interactive things.

This is actually pretty heavy. I can only imagine how heavy it is when it's full.

The gayagum!

We were tossing the arrows into the bucket and it's really loud, but apparently I'm alright at it.

Apparently I look like a natural!

There's a mini Joseon Dynasty village and it's super incredible!!! My favorite part of the museum.

That's right.

Finally, we finished the museum and went to the ice skating rink where I proceeded to fall down like 3 or 5 times and even was nice enough to bring my friends down one time with me! I am not good at ice skating...

I look like a mess. That's what happens when you fall and basically lay on the ice for like 2 minutes.

And when we were done, so began our arduous journey home. It was kinda bad. We couldn't find our bus stop so this nice guy led us to the sort of right one which didn't deliver us to the correct area. And then there was a nice lady there at the stop who was like, yes take this with me, get under my umbrella. But we were really tall compared to her so she gave me her umbrella and then like took off so I was rushing after her so she wouldn't get wet. She was a real cutie.

After the realest struggle of that bus, we decided to get off at a random stop and we actually found a bus at that stop that took us to where we needed to be. Close enough. And it was bad because it had been raining and we didn't have our umbrellas and it got cold and... Yeah. We survived.

So that was yesterday. It was fun, but also really stressful. I would like to go to Lotte World again, but plan better next time.
