McDonald's and the Friends Party

I get to watch the sunset from my room (if I'm there...).

Yesterday had a rather embarrassing moment for me. I was visiting with a friend two floors above me and decided it would be polite to take the stairs down. Well, I didn't know you need your ID to get out of the stairwell. And so, for five minutes or longer, I was stuck in the stairwell laughing at how incredibly unbelievable the whole situation was. It was rather sad. I honestly thought I was going to be there until the next day. Thankfully, a really nice person let me out...

After that horrible experience, the only thing left to do was go to a party.

But before we partied, we needed food, so McDonald's (which was located next to the party venue) was our first stop.

My friend got the 1955 burger, but I'm not exactly sure what makes it different from a regular burger. I tried it though and it was alright. The meat was a little different than America's, but that could be because of the burger itself and different seasonings.

I had the bulgogi burger and I was so disappointed. I feel like I should have expected it to be sweet, because bulgogi is sweet. But I guess I didn't make the complete connection and struggled through the whole burger. I managed to do it. Personally, I will not be getting it again (or anyone from my group), but you have to at least try so you can say you did.

Fries and Coke were on point though. Yes. I will be going again, if not just for a churro. They sell churros at McD's. The heavens have spoken. I absolutely love churros, so I need to get some soon!!

Since we were early to the party, we decided to mill about at the stores next door. A beauty shop that sold Maybelline, ayyyee, and then a convenience store.

It's honestly really fun to look at the stuff sold in stores that, to foreigners, are just so weird.

Like vacuum sealed corn on a cob.

I think this sounds absolutely incredible, actually. And I would definitely love to try it because bacon is the best, hands down.

I wanted to get ice cream, but we were about to head to the party once more and I feel like sucking on a banana isn't the way to make a great first impression. Clearly.

The party had a rough start, but after being invited to a group table, we slowly got into the rhythm of it and it was fun. Until I got incredibly tired and had to leave because I was falling asleep at the table. So yeah, that happened. And I got lost on campus like the smarty pants I am. But I made a lot of new friends, got some Kakao IDs, and in the end it was a much better night than the rest of my embarrassing day.
