Simple Day

A day full of classes and long lectures and lazing around.

The classes are interesting I suppose, since I'm actually curious about what I'm learning, most of it being related to the country I'm currently residing in. So that's a plus. But my Current Issues in Korean Society class....the guy sure does like to talk. In an hour and fifteen, we only covered two power point slides. Two.

But my Korean History class! Oh my goodness. It's a little boring but at the same time, today's class was hilarious. We watched a weird dubbed version of Little Red Riding Hood and it was so funny, I choked on my spit and I still haven't recovered (there's like a little in my lungs and I'm coughing and it's fabulous, really). It was hilarious though, a little demonic towards the end, but stunningly funny. Please, here's the link, watch it. It's so messed up, the voices are awful, and it's so strange.

We went out to the burrito place again for dinner! I had the shrimp and potato burrito and it wasn't as great as the beef and bacon one, but it was still really good, cheap, and completely filling. Next time, I want to try one of their hot dogs! What's worse is that when we left, the owner (I'm assuming) said "See you soon!" And the only thing I could do was laugh, because he probably will see us soon. It's good. And I remember the name: Meal Plan B! If you're ever in Suwon, near Ajou college, I highly recommend Meal Plan B if you want something cheap, delicious, and interesting (because who puts fries in a burrito?).

Also, I visited the little patio we have in our floor's lounge, which I didn't realize we had until like yesterday. So I took some pictures of the skyline last night and this morning.

Feat. My finger.

Yay dead grass.

Also, I tried those cookies I bought yesterday and I just so conveniently happened to be holding my phone up while eating them, camera app open. I forgot why it was open, but it was so I ended up capturing some reaction photos.

It's really small, like an oreo or a Chips Ahoy.

It was really thick. Like quicksand.

But it was decent enough and I continued to eat like three more... I don't know anyone who can eat only one cookie, so don't even judge me.

Also, I highly recommend these if you're going to travel to Korea nad you like peanut butter.

I had some on bread this morning and I missed how much it makes your mouth stop working. Also, Rebekah made me some fried eggs with rice and cute little sausages that taste like hot doga. It was good, I very much appreciated it.

After we ate at the burrito place, we decided ice cream was in order and sat down in the convenience store, all four of us. We kind of felt like animals in a zoo though, because people were staring at us through the glass. But it's alright, cause we were staring too.

I had this. There's blue ice cream under the rest and I don't know exactly what it was but it had little crunchy things in it and I wasn't really feeling that. Next time, I will finally get over it and get the banana flavored and shaped ice cream and deal with the awkward that comes with licking a banana.

Yay!

Also, I don't know if I mentioned it yet or not, but literally these foreign exchange students only think about alcohol. Our group chat is literally just an alcoholics group. They live for drinking and a destroyed liver. And I'm just sitting here like, yo guys, it's Monday, chill. No chill. They're going out for drinks tonight. It's only Monday. Gonna be a long four months.
