It was my friend's birthday! What a fun day we had.
Lookin' cute with her matching skirt and birthday hat.
Mm, not so much for me though.
We went to a karaoke room where Rebekah has been a few times. The lady there is so nice, she gave us free water and 3 hours of singing for free. We only paid for an hour, so literally sang for four hours and I lost my voice so bad since I was sick.
As pretty as these cakes were....they don't taste very good. Too much whipped cream and really bland. But extremely pretty and also really cheap.
I love meat. Too much. I'm really going to miss this when I get back to America, because man we need this there.
Waffle! Chocolate syrup and frozen yogurt (which they like to call ice cream but do not be fooled).
Tulip garden by Suwon Station!!
Our campus is blooming and it's so beautiful, like wow. When I first got here and it was winter, the campus was so ugly but I mean what do expect from dead grass and naked trees? I'll be sure to take more pictures when everything is in full bloom.
Alright. So for like the past three weeks I've been sick with allergies that turned into an ear infection. At our school, we have a hospital on campus and that hospital has a VIP International room where they speak beautiful English. The lady there led me up to the ENT office to get my ear examined. As you can see, they put a heart by your name while you wait. When your name is green, it means you're next and you go sit by the room. You can clearly tell which one is mine.
I had to take a hearing exam which was like $50... The nurses don't speak any English, but the doctor spoke flawlessly. It was interesting when I went to go do the hearing exam. I had to figure out what the nurse just told me in Korean... Thankfully, a lot of the staff there saw our confusion and stepped in to help. We had to get a waiting number, pay for the exam, give the paper to the examiners, and then wait an hour for the exam. Then I had to visit the doctor again and get my prescription printed. Afterwards, we had to get my pills at any pharmacy (which was nice and pretty easy and cheap, about $10). Over all I spent about $100 at the hospital and I'm hoping when my insurance issue gets resolved, I can be reimbursed for it all. And I also hope that that's the only visit to the hospital I make.
And of course, this happened the day before midterms began, this past Tuesday. Midterms killed only a little bit. Everyone's been pretty darn busy though. So these past few weeks have been really lame and boring.
Our little study group before our history exam, which, after stressing over it for two weeks, turned out to be not so bad.
I've completed and survived all of my exams and now I get to focus on all of the crappy assignments history has piled on top of my lifeless body.
