I had been planning on making this trip out to Busan for quite some time. And for those of you that are not sure where Busan is, it is here.
Actually, it's larger than that. It's a large area and pretty great. It's the 2nd largest city in Korea! So, with a vacation of three nights and four days, we tried to visit as many of the more famous places there.
Day One
We took the bus there instead of the train. There were a lot of of people going out to Busan for the long weekend.
The ticket was roughly about $26USD. But the bus ride was about 6 hours long with traffic up to your eyeballs.
The bus was pretty nice though. Lots of room for me and my way too long legs!
So much green on the way there! The most green I've seen here.
The rest stop we stopped at was really nice. Should've gotten more snacks there, but the river was pretty distracting.
We drove through Daegu! I really want to go to Daegu.
And the first view of Busan!
We finally made it to Busan after a very long drive through the country.
Busan Station!
Actually China Town is located directly across from the station, but we didn't go to it.
And our first destination was Jagalchi Market (자갈치시장)! It's a very famous fish market.
The ladies here...they are very strong and demanding. They latched onto your arm and sink their nails in. They called out to me, saying I'm pretty, hoping I'll go into their store to eat. Finally, after forcefully being coerced into eating there, we went into a place to eat grilled eel and complimentary free fish!
I don't like eel, actually. Too many small bones.
This fish, though, was incredibly delicious. I think I ate most of it...
hello
The walls were covered with names and stuff, so I thought, why not?
The next location was BIFF Square. It's a place for famous cinema and actors hand prints litter the sidewalks. Loads of people and street food. I got a churro for cheap and a stick of candy coated strawberries.
Finally, I into a store and I wasn't paying attention but it was a music store! And I got the newest BTS album, $20 cheaper than if I bought it online like usual!!!!!! Such an exciting day that was.
